David A. Hulsey, 27, was kill­ed in a construction accident at Wichita Wednesday, January 29, 1975.

Born Sept. 27, 1947, at St. Louis, MO., he was the son of Blanche Hopkins of Greensburg, KS.

Other survivors include a son Christopher, two daughters Wendi and Tammie, all of Larn­ed; one half-brother, Craig Summers, of Greensburg; one half-sister, Mrs. Larry Hall of Liberal; grandmother Mrs. Ruth Hulsey of Larned.

Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Beckwith Mortuary, The Rev. Ralph Jones officiating. Burial in Larned Cemetery.

Ex-Larned Man Dies In Fall

WICHITA. Kan. UPI – A Goddard construction worker, installing roofing panels in a high wind, fell 35 feet to his death Wednesday from atop the Western Electric Company’s roof.

Police identified the victim as David Hulsey, 27, who sus­tained a crushed skull when he struck a concrete slab.

Hulsey was born in St. Louis, MO. He attended Larned schools and graduated from Larned High School in 1966. He and his younger brother, Craig. were working in the Wichita area.

Survivors include three children. Wendi. Christopher and Tammi: his mother and stepfather. Mr. and Mrs. Claude (Blanche) Hopkins of Greensburg: a sister, Mrs. Larry Hall of Liberal; grand­mother. Mrs. Ruth Hulsey of Larned.

Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Beckwith Mor­tuary, the Rev. Ralph Jones of­ficiating. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery.
